Currently, MOF is rehearsing, finishing recording for its sophomore album, "Purpose", and writing new material for future albums.
The band brings the style of rock and pop together, morphing those styles into something that appeals to a wide audience. Matter of Fact has a sound that combines powerful guitar leads and rhythm riffs with piano driven melodic pop. A terrific blend of smooth vocals, thoughtful lyrics, and pure emotion are what defines the group’s sound.
The rhythm section is headed up by Mark Shively on drums. Mark has been playing drums for many years with various bands. Mark has extensive playing, touring and recording experience. The other part of the rhythm section is Mike Lyons on bass and vocals. Mike plays bass, guitar, keys, drums and has fronted several touring bands. He also has a lot of knowledge and experience recording and engineering for his bands and others. Playing lead & rhythm guitar is Don Mueller. Don has been playing guitar in bands since his teens. Don provides his unique touch to the bands guitar sounds. Fronting the band is Rebekah Lyons. Rebekah has been playing piano, singing, and writing music for as long as she can remember. She has played and recorded as a soloist, as well as performing as keyboardist and vocalist for several touring bands. Rebekah has also released a solo album of instrumental hymns.
